When dry, give the wood a good, nourishing oil. To do this a homemade wood spoon oil is easy to whip up.

We recommend mineral oil or beeswax compound.

Coat the utensils liberally with oil and spread everything out onto a clean, dry rag for the night.

Use the same cloth to wipe them clean and they are ready to use.

Get rid of transfer tastes and smells wooden surface with the cut side of a halved lemon or with a paste made of baking soda and water
